ABOUT 200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING The 200 hour yoga teacher training provided by RishikulYogshala is meant to build a strong and lasting foundation for a deeper self practice and start you on the path to becoming a yoga teacher. The course is packed with information, but scheduled and delivered in a way that keeps you interested and wanting to practice more! All levels are welcome in the 200 hour training as each yogi will choose to pursue their own path with individual vigor. 200 hour yoga teacher training is for individuals who want to learn, practice and spread a life lead by yoga philosophy. Of course discipline is the main pillar of success in becoming a true yogi. As such, we expect you to attend each class with attentiveness although we certainly understand listening to what your body tells you. Although the course is demanding, there are also two half days of free time each week with optional karma yoga trips and natural excursions. Rishikul’s 200 hour training is meticulously designed to satisfy the requirements of the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series and Hatha yoga. During your asana classes, you will learn how to: Move through every pose The drishti (point of focus), prana (breath) Bandhas (locks) Decorating (perfecting the pose). Correct pronunciation of the Sanskrit names Root definition for each pose. By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to plan and teach your very own yoga class in front of your peers. Rishikul Yogshala aims to spread the wisdom of Yoga through their Yoga Alliance-accredited yoga Teacher Training Courses. 

The center was founded in 2010, with the vision to inspire budding yogis who have the passion to deepen their knowledge and experience of yoga with a strong root in Indian tradition. The school offers yoga classes with the goodness of Ayurveda and the spiritual messages of Swami Rama, for yoga lovers and enthusiasts.

Gaining accreditation from the Yoga Alliance International in 2011, followed by the Yoga Alliance USA in 2013, the center offers 200, 300 and 500-hour professional courses. 

Blending the modern and traditional approaches the center offers courses to suit everyone with comfort and ease. Structured under the guidance and requirements of Yoga Alliance, these courses include Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. Acquiring a holistic approach, the focus is also to increase awareness for joyful and simple living. Paving way to reach the inner mind, they practice specific yoga techniques that are useful for everyone. 

Located in the beautiful and spiritually-heightened Rishikesh valley in India, at the root valley of the exotic Himalayan mountain range, Rishikul Yogshala is shares the scenic beauty around. the center focuses on removing stress, tension, ego and unwanted thoughts by adapting a holistic and traditional philosophy, expanding one’s own consciousness, and by using its method of practice. 

Rishikul Yogshala also offer trainings in Kerala, Dharmsala and Nepal, each with a strong tie to the roots of yoga and its principles.

Swami Devatmanada Saraswati, Meditation, Inspirational and Spiritual Guide:
A devotee of the proclaimed sage PoojyaGurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji, Swami DevatmanadaSaraswati is a beacon of peace, love and light. Devoting his life to yoga, he has renounced the worldly pleasures in 1987 and took Deeksha in 2001. An educated mind, he speaks many languages (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi), holds a degree in Law and was also a lecturer in Kerala in the field of Commerce. But after working in Arab countries & serving the society in mundane ways, his inner being broke free from the everyday duties and sought eternal gratification. 
He found the true meaning of existence in spirituality and visited India and abroad for many spiritual discourses and spread the divine light. He also has the privilege to serve his spiritual master’s mission in Kerala and has been the secretary of Chinmaya Vidalaya & junior college for 12 years. .

Swami Atmananada, Meditation, Inspirational and Spiritual Guide:
Receiving the gift of Yoga from Kailash Ashram, Swami Atmananada Giri is a devotee of Guru Nutya Chaitanya Yati and has dedicated his life to the teaching of yoga and its facets. Swamiji met Guru Nitya in 1992 & his disciple, Sudhi Chaitanya in 1998 only to transgress above the everyday working of human life. 
Born in Kerala, he was unaware of his spiritual capabilities but was humanitarian by nature, he wanted to help people and took up Homeopathy at Kerala and practiced Naturopathy for three years. Later on, he started in yogic practice in the year 2006 and since then there is no turning back for him. 
Religiously following the Indian Vedas and Upanishads, he received his education from at Shivananda Ashram from Swami Adyatamanandaji only to become more devoted. He carried his meditation practices for four years at multiple places as a Sanyasa-mendicant. He is currently living in Rishikesh to offer the magic of light he has learnt in his due course of practice.
Annnamalai Prana Ji (Swami Thiyagaranjan):
Trained in the principles of the well recognized Swami Sivananda-Swami Vignanananda tradition of Tamil Nadu, the land of the Sidhhas, Annamalai Prana Ji is one of the most regarded masters of the yogic art. In Rishikesh, Prana Ji is recognized widely as the most experienced yoga master. Pranayama and yoga philosophy are his specialized fields of teaching. His classes are a syncretism of Indian and Western thought and could be highly interesting for a sincere learner. 
Meditation, Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda are among the other aspects of yoga learning that Prana Ji’s vast field of knowledge covers.

Gangesha Chaitanya, Meditation, Inspirational and Spiritual Guide:
An expert in the yoga philosophy, Gangesha was introduced to the field of spirituality at a young age. Receiving his teachings from the great saint Swami Rama, this yoga guru dedicated his life in the up liftment of humanity. 
An E-RYT and gaining an extensive experience in the field of yoga, he is successfully taking classes at various schools of Rishikul Yogshala. Bringing forth newness and variety to his classes, he is a master of meditation, Kundalini yoga and pranayama. A Naga Guru once, he has been in a pursuit to unlock the gateways of mystical realm only accessible by the adepts. 
He inspires his student to tap this mystic kundalini energy lying inside them and reach higher realms. Focusing on the final assimilation, he is a grounded soul and a true nature lover.

Bipin Baloni:
Bipin teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha and Teaching Methodology in the 200 hour and the 300 hour yoga teacher training course and have been working with Rishikul Yogshala since 2010. 
He is a disciple of Yogi Mahesh 

Yogi Prashant Ji:

Focuses mostly on Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Adjustment/Alignment where he teaches the 200 hour and 300 hour yoga teacher training course since 4 years. 

Deepa Ji:
Deepa takes the Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting and Laughing yoga classes for the 200 hour and 300 hour courses Rishikul Yogshala.

Pankaj Ji:
Teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga & adjustment alignment classes. He is a certified yoga teacher and a badminton coach. Belongs to traditional spiritual family, he is guided and trained under expert and traditional yogis. He has completed his Masters in Yoga, covering all the elements of yogic science. He has been teaching Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga since 4 years after his RYT200 certification. An encouraging yoga teacher, he hold a deep understanding of teaching asana classes with mindful integration of meditation, breathing techniques, yoga philosophy and mantra.

Manoranjan Chand:
Manoranjan focuses on Mudras, Yoga Nidra, Chair Yoga (modern day style of yoga for desk workers), Shat Kryia both practical and theoretical, Ayurveda specialist, Cooking classes for the 200 hour programs. 

Yogi Manoj Rawat:
Yoga has been Manoj’s calling since early childhood. He received his fist initiation to the yoga ideas from his grandfather who asked him to follow the path of karma yoga. Later on in his life, Manoj explored Bhakti and Karma in depth to take his yoga journey further. 
He spent his learning time in various Ashrmas, living the hermit way of life with communities of Swamis and Yogis. His understanding of traditional yoga intensified with the days spent at Swargashram, Sivananda Ashram and Jai Ram Ashram. Today, Yogi Manoj is a teacher certified from the prestigious Bihar School of Yoga.

Nisha Ahya, HathaYoga, Pranayama, Anatomy & Physiology:
Nisha Ahya completed her yoga teacher training with Rishkul Yogshala and advanced studies from International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, Madurai, India. Currently, she is a RYT500 and is experienced in teaching yogic sciences while focusing on breathing techniques and yoga philosophy.

Yoga is to control the mind modifications but not to suppress the natural tendencies of unconscious/conscious mind, here the first sutra is to discipline the mind, our terms and conditions are made to enhance the quality of mind to be in discipline.
Alcohol, tobacco, smoking and other illicit drugs are not allowed during the course or on the premises.
During the course a vegetarian diet is to be followed to experience an holistic and Ayurvedic lifestyle. We ask that you do not bring in outside food.
TTC students are to understand the results of the training programme cannot be guaranteed and your progress depends on your efforts during, in and outside the class. Individual results can vary from person to person.
No friends or relatives are allowed to stay with yoga students without prior permission from the management.
All TTC students are requested to be punctual on the TTC timetable and to attend all yoga course classes.
During the classes, mobile phones, cameras, and recording equipment are strictly forbidden.
Please always respect your fellow students and teachers and the Indian culture.
The management reserve the right to terminate/ expel any students who do not abide by the above rules, are disruptive or abusive to the school, teachers or other students. (which may include, by way of example, violence, excessive use of bad language, threatening behaviour or inappropriate sexual activities) In the event of a student being expelled due to a breach of the rules no refund of fees will be given.

Our course payments are pre-contracted.
In any circumstances the fees are non-refundable or non-transferable unless the course is cancelled by the school. The fees are non negotiable.
