Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom is a luxury heritage backwater resort on the banks of Vembanad Lake, accessible only by boat and set amid coconut groves, canals and the waterways of Kuttanad. Part of CGH Earth, the property is built from reconstructed tharavads and traditional Kerala homes, some more than 150 years old, blending heritage architecture with luxury resort comforts. A Green Leaf Certified Ayurveda Centre offers traditional Ayurvedic massages and therapies alongside yoga and meditation, while guests can explore the backwaters by canoe or kayak, join guided birdwatching walks, visit the butterfly garden, take a sunset cruise or learn about the property's conservation work through the Darter Club. Accommodation ranges from Heritage Bungalows and Heritage Mansions to Lake Front Villas with Private Pools, and dining spans authentic Kerala cuisine at Aymanam, Ettukettu and the seafood-focused Vembanad Grill.
