Yoga is a unique way of life which has been evolved as a system to go beyond the personality and to achieve absolute freedom and liberation of the spirit from the matter. This practice, based on ancient Indian wisdom and culture, dates back to 2,500 BC, possibly even earlier. The science of man, as it is also called, is an art of living a healthy, balanced, peaceful, and contented life. It is a scientific system designed to bring the practitioners health, happiness, and a greater sense of Self. In yoga, the body and mind are linked to create a state of internal peacefulness and integration. At the practical level, and included in the contemporary definitions of yoga, are the actual physiological/mental techniques themselves. These techniques concentrate on posture and alignment as well as creating a higher consciousness. Yoga utilizes stretching postures, breathing, and meditation techniques to calm the emotional state and the mind and tone the body. At Athreya, you can practice yoga under the caring guidance of a qualified yoga instructor. Yoga meditation sessions are an essential part of the complimentary yoga classes. The course of the class may vary according to the direction of the yoga instructor who includes the different needs and levels of expertise of the clients into his teaching.

All treatment programs begin with a mandatory online consultation with an Athreya physician before confirmation of the booking. This helps assess the guest's health condition, determine the suitability of treatment, and recommend the appropriate program and duration.

Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of the applicable advance payment. Payment instructions will be shared by the reservations team during the booking process.

Every treatment plan is personalised. The consulting physician may modify therapies, medicines, diet, or treatment schedules based on the guest's medical condition and progress during the stay.

Treatment charges are calculated based on actual treatment days, not on the number of calendar days or checkout time. If treatment cannot commence on the day of arrival, that day is not charged as a treatment day.

Guests are requested to bring their previous medical records, investigation reports, current prescriptions, and medications for the initial consultation.

Meals served at Athreya are physician-prescribed Ayurvedic vegetarian meals and form an essential part of the treatment protocol. Guests are expected to follow the prescribed dietary recommendations throughout their stay.

Payments are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR). International bank transfers and major credit/debit cards are accepted. Currency exchange differences, where applicable, are based on the exchange rate on the date of payment.

Athreya reserves the right to modify treatment plans or operational policies whenever medically necessary or in the interest of guest safety and quality of care.

Guests wishing to postpone their stay are encouraged to contact the reservations team in advance. Requests for rescheduling are subject to availability and approval by the management.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original mode of payment
