SHANTI is a program with special focus on Yoga open only for the fixed dates and for a minimum of 10 nights.

Introduction:
The 'SHANTI' program is run bi-monthly, each session starting either on the 1st or the 3rd Sunday of every month. Built around Yoga therapy to refocus the mind, it includes a Day of Silence or Mauna to experience the healing power of silence in one's life. In this program one learns to appreciate that Yoga is not simply a matter of bending and contorting the body but truly an experience of a 'union with the self', calling on one to reach greater levels of awareness whilst becoming a more cohesive self. A strictly regimented programme in which given schedule will need to be adhered to & being based on living the Satvik lifestyle, the recommended diet is pure vegetarian. 'SHANTI' is a regimented program more suitable for those who have been practicing Yoga at least for a year so there is some level of awareness of the Yoga practices since there are anumber of exclusive in depth meditation & asana sessions.
While a couple of Ayurveda massages to de stress the physical body are included in this program, additional therapies can be availed only prior to or after completing the SHANTI program so as not to interfere with the intensive Yoga schedule in this program.
Inclusions for the 10 nights 'SHANTI' program :
A detailed consultation with the Yoga instructors & Naturopathy doctors, on arrival
A full day for Yogic kriyas to detox & cleanse - 'Laghooshankaprakshalan' to detox & cleanse the digestive tract & 'Jal neti' to cleanse the nasal tracts & sinuses
Five private one on one consultations & Yoga classes - per person, each session of a duration of 45 minutes with the yoga instructor & Naturopathy doctor
Five exclusive special focus group yoga sessions for those on SHANTI
This includes one in depth 60 mins session of each of the following during your stay
Chakrashuddhi meditation
Mudras & Bandhas theory
Yoga Nidra advanced
Pranayama
Spiritual Pranic healing meditation
One day of Antar mauna (Inner silence), guided by your Yoga instructors, this is to be introduced to & to learn about the power of Silence
Two 45 minute NADA Yoga workshops, these Yoga sessions using music & art as a therapy, exclusive to those on the SHANTI program
One Alternate therapeutic massage - per person, Reflexology or Acupressure as advised by the Naturopathy doctors
Two full body Ayurveda abhyanga massages - per person, to de stress the body which will be strictly as advised by the Ayurveda doctors
A strict personalized vegetarian diet based on Naturopathy cuisine
Evening events which could be educational talks/movies / music evenings
Accommodation on full board basis ( all three meals included)
To & fro transfers from Goa airport
Diet: A personalized diet which is pure vegetarian, while raw food will form a large part of your diet- fresh fruits, fresh vegetable/fruit juices etc. On the day of your Yogic cleansing you will have a diet of Kitchari (a thick porridge made of rice & lentils flavoured with garlic, turmeric and bay leaves) accompanied by boiled vegetables. There will be herbal and Yogic teas to go with your meals.

Daily group sunrise meditations.
Daily group evening meditations- chakra/ tratak/ Mind Sound Resonance Technique/ chanting.
A daily special focus group Yoga session which could be on Yoga nidra/ Pranayama /Art yoga / Laughter yoga / Mandala meditation.
Guided art classes with our resident artist in the art studio.
Guided nature walks, village visits & bird watching trips accompanied by our resident naturalist or GRE.
One weekly 45 mins boat cruise to visit the other nearby beaches or use to go into town.
Daily interactive cooking sessions with the Chef & his team in the kitchen at 11.30hrs.
Guided visit to the Gokarna temple & town or to see the weekly farmers market on Thursdays accompanied by one of our staff (Transfers by tuk tuks at extra cost on direct payment.
Karma Yoga - if you wish you can join the staff for a community based group exercise which could be helping on the farm, gardening or beach cleaning].
Cultural programs showcasing a traditional dance forms or musical instruments.
