Panchakarma (five therapies) is the Ayurveda procedure to cleanse the body of toxic materials accumulated by disease and poor nutrition. By cleansing toxins from the body, Panchakarma helps you to re balance the three doshas (energies) that govern all biological and mental processes of the body, mind, and consciousness, and maintain longevity. These five therapeutic ways of removing toxins from a being’s body are Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti, and Raktamoskshana. The removal of all toxins from the body with Panchakarma improves the sense of well being and happiness, removes negative feelings and restores a balance of the three doshas.
