A residential Ayurvedic wellness program designed to support individuals living with Type 2 Diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic imbalance, and related lifestyle disorders. Rooted in the principles of Ayurveda and holistic lifestyle correction, the program focuses on improving metabolic efficiency, supporting healthy glucose regulation, enhancing vitality, and promoting sustainable long-term wellbeing.

According to Ayurveda, diabetes develops gradually through a combination of dietary habits, lifestyle factors, impaired digestion and metabolism, and constitutional imbalances. The program at Indimasi aims to address these underlying factors through a personalized combination of therapeutic nutrition, Ayurvedic treatments, yoga, breathing practices, meditation, and lifestyle guidance.

A key focus of the program is reducing unnecessary metabolic strain on the body through easily digestible, nutrient-rich foods while encouraging healthy energy utilization through movement, yoga, and pranayama. Guests receive individualized guidance based on their body constitution (Prakruti), health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals.

The program may include classical Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyangam (therapeutic oil massage), Udwartanam (herbal powder therapy), and Virechanam (therapeutic cleansing) as prescribed by the physician. Additional practices such as guided meditation, positive lifestyle conditioning, Mouna Sadhana (periods of therapeutic silence), and supervised fasting protocols may be incorporated when appropriate and based on individual requirements.

Through a combination of personalized care, education, and sustainable lifestyle practices, the program aims to empower guests to make informed choices that support better health and wellbeing long after their stay.

This program is suitable for individuals with Type 2 Diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, obesity-related health concerns, and those seeking a holistic approach to improving metabolic health.

Package Inclusions

• Comprehensive doctor's consultation upon arrival and departure, including Dosha assessment and personalized treatment planning

• Prescribed Ayurvedic therapies (approximately 90 minutes per day) as recommended by the physician

• Internal and external Ayurvedic medications during the stay

• Customized Sattvic full-board vegetarian meals aligned with individual therapeutic requirements

• Daily Yoga sessions

• Morning and Evening Meditation sessions

• Kalaripayattu sessions adapted to individual capacity

• Two-way airport, railway station, or central bus station transfers from Thiruvananthapuram (valid for stays of 7 nights and above)
