The Ayurveda Ailment Management Programme at Dheemahi Ayurvedic Village, Kumarakom begins with understanding the individual, not just the ailment. Based on the guest’s Prakriti (body constitution), health condition and wellness goals, Ayurvedic doctors personalize therapies, diet and lifestyle recommendations to address the underlying causes of health concerns.
Through traditional Ayurvedic therapies, herbal support, personalized nutrition, yoga and mindful practices, Dheemahi creates an individualized wellness plan for a range of health concerns, including arthritis and joint disorders, diabetes, hypertension, respiratory conditions, PCOS, digestive issues, skin disorders, migraine, sinusitis and lifestyle-related concerns such as fatty liver disease.
The programme focuses on supporting the management of chronic health concerns, improving overall well-being and encouraging healthier long-term lifestyle habits within the peaceful backwater environment of Kumarakom.

The retreat is accessible by road, and taxi transfers can be arranged from Cochin International Airport or Kottayam Railway Station for a convenient journey to the property.1. Booking Confirmation
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full upon arrival at the center.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Client:
- More than 30 days before arrival: Deposit is non-refundable, but transferable to another booking within 6 months.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total package cost is non-refundable.
- Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% of the total package cost is non-refundable.
- Cancellation by Center: In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Dheemahi Ayurveda, a full refund will be provided.
3. Change of Booking
- Amendments: Any changes to the booking dates or package must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and management approval.
- Fee: An administrative fee may apply for changes made within 30 days of arrival.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In: From 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-Out: By 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
- Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Health and Medical Conditions
- Disclosure: Clients must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or other health concerns at the time of booking.
- Medical Consultation: An initial consultation with an Ayurveda doctor is mandatory upon arrival to tailor the treatment program.
6. Code of Conduct
- Respect: Clients are expected to respect the peaceful environment of the center and fellow guests.
- Compliance: Clients must comply with the center's rules and guidelines, including dietary restrictions and treatment schedules.
7. Privacy Policy
- Confidentiality: Personal information provided by clients will be kept confidential and used solely for booking and treatment purposes.
8. Force Majeure
- Unforeseen Events: Dheemahi Ayurveda is not liable for any cancellations or changes due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, political unrest, or other emergencies.
