The Karikkathi Beach House is the finest sea-front property located in a secluded part of the Chowara Beach, 19 kms south of Thiruvananthapuram International Airport & 8 kms south of Kovalam. With its old world charm facade and modern comforts, the exclusive retreat sits on a 800 sq.metre seafront property.

About 25 acres of palm grove surrounds this property. The property is perfectly isolated for honeymooners or those looking to escape from the chaos of the city life.

The nearest car access point is 400 meters away from the beach house. On arrival, the walk from the Nagar Bhagavathi temple through the palm grove along the beach pathway is very relaxing, but not suitable for physically disabled as the earth is very uneven.

Karikkathi Beach House enjoys outstanding natural beauty and stands second to none in this aspect.  Guests can get views of the beach through every windows of the house. It offers two double bedrooms with a linked lounge room in between. Its thatched roof with palm leaf mats give it a unique finish. The rooms do not have air-conditioning or television but enjoy natural ventilation with an overhead fan.

Meals at Karikkathi are prepared keeping in mind the 'Desha'(territory) and 'Kala' (Season as well as time of the day). Guests can enjoy a wide variety of dishes in the open air dining at the magnificent lawn of the house offers a one-of-a-kind experience. An additional beach house is also avaialble for larger groups.

Guests' also have access to a unique Ayurvedic experience at Karikathi Beach House. In order to ensure result oriented treatments, the center does not take more than 6 patients at a time. Minimum 2 weeks treatment is advised and for better result, 4-6 weeks.
