Set in Chowara on Kerala’s southern coast, just outside Trivandrum, Dr Franklin’s Panchakarma Institute & Research Centre is a doctor-led Ayurveda centre with a family tradition of Ayurvedic medical practice spanning over 400 years. Founded in 1997, the centre specialises in authentic Panchakarma and personalised Ayurvedic treatment, with each programme developed and supervised by experienced physicians following an individual consultation. With 69 rooms, an in-house Ayurvedic restaurant, medicine-manufacturing unit, pharmacy, yoga programmes and a location within walking distance of the beach, Dr Franklin’s combines classical Ayurvedic care with the comforts of a health resort.
