NEER BANKOTI has over 7 years and 7000 hours of experience in the Himalayan forests-Birding, Trekking and photographing. Neer lives in the beautiful Sattal lake area near to Nainital. His expertise is in identifying Birds by their Calls….this make him quicker in identifying birds. He is very popular with Birders with India and foreigners. Grown up in the KumaonHimalyas he is well versed with its culture and flora/ fauna of the area. Neer is qualified from the famous Forest Research Institute at Dehradun and Wildlife Institure of India with advance courses in Birding and wildlife.

Enjoy the enchanting Himalayas from Muskotia, Kilbury, Nainital. Muskotia cottages is situated on top of the Mountain at a height of 7200 feet/2100 meters overlooking the snow-clad Himalayas and surrounded with thick Oak and Rhododendron Trees. The Kilbury forest area is an International Birding (Naina Devi Bird Conservatory) destination with estimated > 400 species of Birds/Butterflies and Moths.
