The 500 hours of yoga teacher training is a combination of 200 and 300 hour training. This training consists of beginner and advance level training. One can enroll and learn immediately one after another or in two separate modules. Benefits of 500 hour training is that both training can be finished in a shorter period. A student who need more practice and time to absorb the teachings of 200 hour level before they can grasp the teachings of 300 hour course, they can join after few time. If a student have time, dedication and ability to absorb a lot of information in short period he/she might join 500 hours and complete it at one go.
