About the Center

The Raviz Kadavu is a serene riverside retreat where Kerala’s traditions, natural surroundings and contemporary hospitality come together. Located along the banks of the Chaliyar River, the nine-acre property is surrounded by lush greenery and indigenous plant varieties.

The resort draws inspiration from the Nalukettu architectural style of Malabar, incorporating traditional Kerala elements such as tiled roofs, open spaces and natural materials. Nearly 90% of the construction material is reported to have been sourced from the property, including locally available laterite stone.

Guests can enjoy river cruises, nature walks, swimming, yoga, fitness and indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Cultural performances and curated local experiences introduce guests to the traditions and heritage of Kerala and Malabar.

Keraleeyam serves Kerala and Malabar specialities as well as Indian and international dishes. Garam offers an open-air grill experience, while Zirkon provides a riverside lounge setting. In-room dining is also available.

Malabar cuisine reflects the region’s historical Arab, Dutch and Portuguese influences, giving it a character distinct from other parts of Kerala.
