Spread across 51 acres, the sanctuary offers a holistic approach to well-being, combining Ayurveda, naturopathy, yoga, movement, nutrition, meditation and immersive experiences with contemporary diagnostics and personalized care.
The philosophy at Swastik extends beyond physical health. Its approach is built around five dimensions of well-being — Health, Wealth, Love, Bliss and Spirituality — with each dimension reflected in the sanctuary’s spaces, programmes and experiences.
About the Center
Spread across 51 acres in Peacock Valley, beside Khadakwasla Lake and surrounded by the Sahyadri hills, Swastik well-being Sanctuary is designed as a place to pause, reconnect and restore. Its thoughtfully created spaces, immersive natural setting and integrated approach to well-being bring together ancient Indian healing traditions and contemporary wellness practices.
Swastik takes a holistic view of well-being, bringing together Ayurveda, naturopathy, yoga, movement, nutrition, meditation and energy-based practices with contemporary diagnostics and personalized care. Rather than focusing on a single therapy, its programmes are designed around the individual, supporting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
The sanctuary caters to different needs through Wellness Programmes, Healing Programmes and Wellness Holidays. These range from stress management, digital detox and longevity to condition-specific programmes addressing areas such as weight management, diabetes, gut health, sleep, cardiac wellness, pain management, women’s health, liver health and fertility.
Founded in November 2024 under the Nyati Foundation, Swastik was envisioned as a sanctuary that brings together India’s traditional systems of healing with contemporary approaches to health and well-being. The vision was to create more than a conventional wellness resort — a setting where architecture, nature, therapies, food and everyday experiences work together to encourage deeper and more sustainable lifestyle change.
Architecture is an integral part of the Swastik experience, with the sanctuary designed to sit within rather than dominate its natural surroundings. Organic forms, gentle curves, earth-integrated structures and open spaces create a visual and physical connection with the landscape. The design draws inspiration from Swastik’s five dimensions of well-being — Health, Wealth, Love, Bliss and Spirituality — with each Vihar given its own architectural identity. Ayu Vihar takes inspiration from the form of a peacock feather, while Anand Vihar evokes a blooming flower. The residential Guhas of Sukh Vihar are integrated into the hillside, creating contemporary cave-like retreats that blend naturally into the landscape. At the heart of Dhyan Vihar is the 11,000-square-foot, 72-foot-high Dhyan Mandir, a column-free space designed for meditation, yoga, chanting and other contemplative practices.
Swastik’s philosophy is built around five interconnected dimensions of well-being, represented in its distinctive logo as five symbolic petals. Red represents Health, reflecting vitality and physical well-being; Yellow represents Wealth, symbolizing prosperity and abundance; Green represents Love, nurturing relationships and connection; and Blue represents Bliss, reflecting peace and happiness. At the centre is White, representing Spirituality — the space for inner peace, awareness and liberation. These dimensions are expressed throughout the sanctuary, from its architecture, to programmes, food and experiences ; creating a holistic environment in which well-being extends beyond treatments..
Nature is central to the Swastik experience. The 51-acre sanctuary incorporates approximately 15,000 native trees and attracts more than 30 species of birds, creating a bio-diverse setting around the wellness spaces. Sustainability is integrated into the property’s design and operations through renewable energy, organic-waste management, water conservation and recycling systems. These initiatives reflect Swastik’s broader philosophy of creating a conscious relationship between personal well-being and the natural environment.
The Five Vihars
The sanctuary is thoughtfully organized into five Vihars, each representing a different dimension of well-being and offering a distinct space for healing, living, reflection and connection.
Anand Vihar is the heart of the sanctuary, housing the arrival area, health and wellness consultations and Rasa & Sama, the property’s global restaurant. Inspired by Fire and the imagery of a blossoming flower, its design reflects warmth, vitality and inner awakening.
Sukh Vihar is the residential heart, with 64 suites and villas designed in harmony with the surrounding landscape. Gently curved, earth-integrated architecture and open-air verandas overlooking the hills and backwaters create naturally restful spaces.
Ayu Vihar is dedicated to healing and therapeutic well-being, bringing Ayurveda and traditional wellness practices together with contemporary facilities, including Ayurvedic therapy spaces, hydrotherapy and halotherapy.
Dhyan Vihar is dedicated to meditation, yoga and spiritual well-being. Its centrepiece, the Dhyan Mandir, provides an immersive setting for meditation, sound-based experiences and contemplative practices.
Utsav Vihar is the sanctuary’s space for culture, creativity and shared experiences. An open-air amphitheatre and activity spaces provide a setting for music, performances, yoga, celebrations and experiences that encourage connection and joy.
