The Slimming programme consists of therapies directed specifically towards weight reduction, particularly for those suffering from obesity. As a part of the treatment, several types of body massages are performed with medicated herbal powders and oils to remove excess fat from the body. The main treatments are Abhyangam, Steam bath, Udwarthanam, Kizhi/Podikizhi, Pizhichil, Dhara, Tharpanam, Kashayasekham, Karnapooranam, Vasti and Swedanam, Lepanam and face pack. With this course of treatment, the body will lose excess fat that has been accumulated. Prescription medicines aid with proper digestion and metabolic activities, helping to maintain internal functionality. Pure herbal, Ayurvedic food, teas, oils, and juices are used alongside these medicines. Together, they help correct the body’s metabolic rate to prevent the further accumulation of body fat.
