Time-tested Ayurveda proves that one can lose weight naturally by balancing the fat metabolism and correcting the Kapha dosha. The therapies will be complimented with internal herbal medications, regular exercises/ Yoga and strict Ayurvedic vegetarian diet. The program includes conditioning oil massages, body exfoliation, dry herbal powder scrub, anti-cellulite detox massages, detox body therapies and body purification. Based on the patient's requirements and body constitution, the doctor will recommend the following therapies: Shiromardhanam, Abhyangasnana, Gharshanam, Paada Mardhanam, Udwarthanam, Detox-Anti cellulite massage, Aavikkizhy, Dasmoolakashaya Dhara, Shirodhara, Nasyam, Lepanam, Snehapaanam and Virechanam. Additional inclusions (for 14/21 days) are Dhanyamladhara, Paada-Abhyangam. Package Inclusions: • Accommodation with daily 90 minutes ‘Ayurveda therapy’ by a single therapist. • Daily yoga for 60 minutes. • One-to-one consultation with our Ayurveda Physician. • Internal herbal medicines during the period of treatment. • Breakfast, lunch and dinner as per menu prescribed by the doctor in consultation with our chef. • Pick-up and drop from/to Trivandrum airport or railway station. • Prices are in Indian rupees inclusive of taxes. Diet and Lifestyle recommendations during the program: - Drink minimum 2 litres of water including other fluids per day. - No cold food and drinks to be consumed. - Rest and relax for 2-3 hours after the treatments. No sun bathing, no swimming, avoid exposure to rain and cold draughts immediately after therapy. - Smoking, alcoholic drinks and fizzy drinks need to be avoided. - Avoid any kind of physical exertion and long distance travelling. - Avoid sleeping during day time and staying awake at night. - Prescribed Ayurvedic diet menu needs to be followed with emphasis on vegetarian food. Note: - As Ayurveda treatments are highly personalized, the exact treatments and medicines could only be finalised after a detailed consultation with the doctor. The treatments given may vary according to the body constitution and requirements of the individual. - Male therapists will attend to gentlemen and female therapists will attend to ladies for all massages and therapies - Please attend Ayurveda therapies following diet and lifestyle regimen as advised for optimum results - For women: Certain therapies included in the program are contraindicated for women during their menses. Women are advised to schedule the program safely outside of the menstrual period.

How to reach

Airways Connectivity

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) is the nearest airport to Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra, approximately 19–20 km from the retreat. The journey from the airport takes around 30–40 minutes by road. Private airport transfers are available as part of the applicable wellness packages.

Railway Connectivity

The nearest railway station is Neyyattinkara Railway Station, approximately 13–14 km from the retreat. Alternatively, guests can use Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, located approximately 18–20 km away. Taxis or private transfers can be arranged from either station.

Roadway Connectivity

Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra is located at Pulinkudi Road, Mullur, Vizhinjam, Kovalam, approximately 20 km from Thiruvananthapuram. The retreat is accessible by taxi or private car from Thiruvananthapuram city, the airport or the railway stations.

• Early Check In & Late Check out would attract an extra charge of an additional night. 
• The tariff is in Indian Rupees (INR). 
• All disputes are subject to Bangalore jurisdiction.

Check-In Documentation:

INDIAN NATIONALS: 
As per Govt. of India regulations, all Indian nationals (adults & children) are required to provide a proof of identity such as:
Driving License, Voter’s ID, Aadhar Card or Passport, at the time of check–in. 
FOREIGN NATIONALS: 
All foreign nationals are required to produce their valid Passports and Visa, at the time of check in.

• Confirmed dates/days may be altered, cancelled or cut short for the stay period mentioned below, ONLY IF the intimation reaches the company via email 30 days prior to the check in date (D-30) for SUMMER bookings. 
Cancellation which is not initiated at minimum of 30 days prior to the check in date (D-30), would incur 100% retention charges of the TOTAL PACKAGE. 
Period of stay: 16th April 2020 to 30th September 2020 


• Confirmed dates/days may be altered, cancelled or cut short for the stay period mentioned below, ONLY IF the intimation reaches the company via email 60 days prior to the check in date (D-60) for WINTER bookings. 
Cancellation which is not initiated at minimum of 60 days prior to the check in date (D-60), would incur 100% retention charges of the TOTAL PACKAGE. 
Period of stay: 01st October 2020 to 17th December 2020 & 11th January 2021 to 31st March 2021 
 

• BOOKINGS FOR SUPER PEAK PERIOD 
ALL reservations for the below mentioned dates are non-amendable, non-cancellable and non-refundable, at the respective retreats. 
Period of stay: 18th December 2020 to 10th January 2021 
No refund is applicable for no show. 
 

BOOKINGS FOR AYURVEDA / WELLNESS PACKAGES 
The Ayurveda Package with a minimum of 05 nights and above enjoy a special cancellation and refund policy, as mentioned below – 
• If the cancellation is NOT initiated at minimum of 60 days prior to the check in date (D-60), the retention would be 75% only. There would be NO refund administrative charges. 
• The non-amendable, non-cancellable and non-refundable period will be applicable for Ayurveda Packages.

# Note: ''For all refunds, the payment gateway charges, service charges and taxes will be deducted. Only the balance will be paid''.
