Integrative Cancer Care Support Program

A 21-night residential Ayurvedic Cancer Care Support Program designed to complement conventional cancer treatment through a holistic and integrative approach to wellbeing. Rooted in the principles of Ayurveda, the program combines gentle therapeutic interventions, personalized nutrition, yoga, pranayama, meditation, and lifestyle guidance to support physical recovery, emotional resilience, and overall quality of life.

The program is led by Dr. Amita Varghese, Resident Medical Officer for Oncology Integrated Care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team at Indimasi and under the guidance of Guru Yogishivan. Following a detailed assessment, an individualized care plan is developed according to the guest's health condition, treatment history, current symptoms, and recovery goals.

Ayurvedic therapies are selected to support comfort, vitality, digestion, sleep quality, emotional wellbeing, and overall strength during or after conventional treatment. Daily yoga, pranayama, and guided meditation practices help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and support mental and emotional wellbeing throughout the healing journey.

Nutrition forms an integral part of the program. Guests receive a customized Sattvic vegetarian diet designed to support digestive health, nourishment, and overall wellbeing while aligning with individual health requirements and physician recommendations.

Conducted within Indimasi's peaceful, vegetarian, and alcohol-free environment, this program offers guests a supportive space for rest, reflection, and recovery. It is suitable for individuals undergoing or recovering from conventional cancer treatment who are seeking complementary wellness support under professional supervision.

Package Inclusions

• Medical consultation upon arrival and departure with the oncology-integrated care team, including personalized treatment planning

• Gentle Ayurvedic therapies (approximately 90 minutes per day) as prescribed by the physician

• Internal and external Ayurvedic medications during the stay

• Immune-supportive Sattvic full-board vegetarian meals tailored to individual health requirements

• Daily Yoga sessions

• Daily Pranayama practices

• Morning and Evening Meditation sessions

• Kalaripayattu sessions (where medically appropriate)

• One-on-one consultations with Guru Yogishivan

• Two-way airport, railway station, or central bus station transfers from Thiruvananthapuram (valid for stays of 7 nights and above)

• Additional food items and beverages not included in the prescribed treatment diet
