Kalari does Panchakarma procedures only in those patients who are fit for that particular Panchakarma procedure as per the guidelines dictated by classical Ayurvedic textbooks (Ashtangasangraha, Charaka Samhita and Susrutha Samhitha) Bedridden, wheelchair-bound and critically ill patients cannot be treated here.

Airways Connectivity

Coimbatore International Airport (CJB) is the nearest airport, approximately 75 km away (about 1 hour 45 minutes by road). Cochin International Airport (COK) is a further alternative, approximately 115 km away (about 2 hours 30 minutes by road). Airport transfers can be arranged on request.

Railway Connectivity

Palakkad Junction (Palghat Junction) is the nearest major railway station, approximately 30 km away and well connected to Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. The palace is roughly 45 to 60 minutes away by taxi or pre-arranged transfer.

Roadway Connectivity

Kalari Kovilakom is located in Kollengode, Palakkad district, easily accessible by road from Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Kochi via National Highway 544 and the state highway network, offering a secluded countryside setting within comfortable driving distance of major transport hubs.

At Kalari Kovilakom, everyone is provided with three sets of complementary fine cotton Pyjama suits for their use. If you do not intend to travel elsewhere other than to Kalari Kovilakom, you need not carry many clothes, so pack light.
Do carry a light shawl, scarf and cotton socks, as the evenings can get cold.
Bring along a set of personal toiletries.
Carry your medical reports and medications for prior consultation with the Doctor at Kalari Kovilakom.
Kindly use non-leather footwear (closed and/or open) only. You may carry a pair of sunglasses and a hat, if required.
As per Government Regulations, we request you to carry a valid Passport and Visa. Indian nationals can present any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Voter ID or Aadhaar card
To book a program, 50% advance payment must be received 60 days prior to arrival date or before the cut-off date mentioned by the central reservation system.
For booking confirmation, 100% advance payment must be received 30 days prior to arrival or before the cut-off date mentioned by the central reservation system.

50% refund if cancelled 21 days before the arrival date. The balance amount will be retained for a future booking date valid until 6 months from the cancellation date.
No refund if cancelled less than 20 days before the arrival date. The full amount will be retained for a future booking date valid until 6 months from the cancellation date.
No refund of the retained amount post the 6 month validity period.
