Fusion Yoga India offers a 12 day 100-hour Aerial and Yin YTTC in the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh. You will practice asanas, discover the philosophy of yoga, and learn the teaching methodology.
Certification
Fusion Yoga India has created a light but detailed course especially for you. In our multi-style school, with time we have experienced that there are several amongst you who have time constraints or would like to learn and focus on only two styles.
Keeping convenience, time period and focus in mind and heart, we have designed a creative 100 – hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. The motivation is to create an awareness about yoga, help you find joy in your practice, provide some feeders on human anatomy and introduce you to Yogic Philosophy & Physiology.
Our focus would be on Yin Yoga and Aerial Yoga.
Our Aerial Basic class will include optional hanging inversions. All of the poses will be initially taught on the ground. The apparatus is designed to be moveable - meaning the hammock is raisable or lowerable to help you adjust as per your convenience. You shall control the intensity of your practice. These classes shall be small and partner work may be utilized. We ensure you of your safety. We hope that you will feel safe and confident learning how to operate the Aerial Yoga Hammock. We shall even show you how to purchase, setup, and use the same in the comfort of your own home.
If you’re tired and craving energy, or you’re overstimulated with a racing mind, Yin Yoga is just the answer to your problem. Our Yin yoga training draws practitioners to a more contemplative aspect of yoga that prepares the mind and body for meditation. On the physical level, it focuses more on the connective tissues developing flexibility like no other type of yoga, which will prepare the meditator for longer sitting practice. We hold the posture in a relaxed manner for longer time, allowing to cultivate concentration or one pointedness of the mind. In other words, relaxation is the way and observation is the key of this practice.
When we set out on our journey to teach Yin yoga to yoga professionals and practitioners across the world, we had a very clear intention of how we wanted to convey our Yin yoga teacher training. We specialise in delivering a methodology of teaching that is both functional and systematic. Providing yoga teachers with the necessary tools to share the Yin practice in a group, as well as to individualize Yin yoga for the need of each student.
Certification
We would provide you with a certificate of completion of 100 hr Teacher Training Course. As regards Yoga Alliance USA, they recognize the designation of Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200, RYT 300, and RYT 500 only. Hence, only doing a 100-hour YTTC would not make you eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance. However, the following aspects of certification has been structured:
A. You can return and do another 100-hr course with us and we shall provide you a 200 hr YTTC certificate which would make you eligible to register with Yoga Alliance.
B. You can do another 100-hr course with any of our other school locations (presently in Goa as Kashish Yoga or Ocean Yoga India or at Dharamshala as Nirvana Yoga India) and we shall provide you a 200 hr YTTC certificate which would make you eligible to register with Yoga Alliance.
C. If you are a RYT-200, then you are required to maintain a “Continuing Education Requirements (CER)” logging a minimum of 30 hours of Yoga related training under Educational categories of Yoga Alliance every three years. Our 100-hr certification would help you meet the criteria of CER with 100 hour credits.
Course Details
AERIAL YOGA
Aerial is fun and gentle way to get strong, relieve pain and heal the body. Swings support the body’s weight, enhance our range of motion and allow us to stretch deeper and work a greater range of back and core muscles. Aerial offers great therapeutic benefits. We use gravity to decompress the spine, realign the vertebrae, relieve disc and nerve pressure, which causes pain. Most importantly, it’s fun and makes people smile :). Honestly, so many students say it is the best time of their life.
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga teaches you to relax your body deeply, calm your emotions, stimulate the vital energy of the meridians (similar to nadi) and organs, while inducing a deep and intense stretching. Supports such as cushions, balls, tiles are used to allow the body to enter deeply into the asanas thus letting the energy move and remove the emotional blocks that lead to physical blocks. The purpose of yin yoga is to relax the muscles and stimulate the connective tissue by applying optimal tension for a while whilst maintaining a deep breathing.
100 HOUR PROGRAM - CURRICULUM
We have redefined a curriculum as per the international standards of Yoga Alliance USA coupled with our own expertise in the field of yoga. The prime objective is to prepare the future teachers physically and spiritually and make them ready to practice and teach by themselves. We will lay down the foundations to become a successful and well-rounded yoga teacher.
The main areas that we cover in our program will be classified in 5 modules: Yoga Teaching Techniques, Teaching Methodology and Yogic Lifestyle, Philosophy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Practice.
