This preparation of fresh mint may help with easing symptoms in the following indications:

  • Bloated belly / Gas / Flatulence
  • Digestion upsets
  • Menstrual cramps

Gather the following ingredients:

  • Water (500 ml)
  • Himalayan rock salt (1 pinch)
  • Pinch of Jaggery (avoid if diabetic)
  • Amchur powder (Indian spice range of dried mango powder)
  • Bunch of fresh mint leaves

This entire preparation may take you about 5 minutes:

  •  Boil water long enough to reduce the quantity roughly to 450 ml
  • Add the bunch of fresh mint leaves and boil longer. Bring down the concoction to 350 ml
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, stir and turn off the heat.
  • Pour into a cup and sip slowly.
