According to Ayurveda, being overweight involves an inherent excess in Kapha dosha. While kapha may not be the only factor at play in your struggle with excess weight, it is certainly an important player. One of the foundational principles of Ayurveda is that like increases like and that opposites balance. Kapha and excess weight share many of the same qualities; they are both heavy, slow, cool, oily, smooth, dense, soft, stable, and substantive. Therefore, being overweight can provoke kapha in the body, and excess kapha in the body can lead to being overweight. Conversely, a return to balance requires an increase in opposing influences—those that are light, sharp, hot, dry, rough, liquid, mobile, and subtle. 
All the treatments in Samadhi Center are done after doctor consultation once you arrived at the hotel. Therefore your Rejuvenation Treatment plan will be decided once you are consulted by the doctor. Treatments and results will vary from patient to patient, as per the body condition, age of patient, Diseases, etc.

Kandy Samadhi is located 25km away from Kandy City. The wellness center is situated on an abandoned tea estate that spreads over 17 acres. This peaceful property opens to beautiful rivers and Knuckles Mountain Range a UNESCO world heritage site.

There is a nice river running through the property. You can swim, do river walking or go for water fall tour, bird watching or you can do Knuckles mountain trekking, Tea factory visit, tea estate walk, village temple tours and more can be arranged on request. 

Most of the food is produced organically and cooked with traditional firewood Kitchen. This is perhaps the only Ayurvedic Sri Lankan food restaurant with Sri Lankan ambiance.
